GharOne – Family Daily Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how GharOne – Family Daily (“GharOne”, “we”, “our”, or the “App”) handles information when you use the App. GharOne is a family lifestyle application that includes meal planning and recipe suggestions, family challenges, one-minute brain games, and family memory tools.
1. Core local-first design
GharOne is designed so that its core family features can work locally on your device without requiring a GharOne account or a GharOne-operated cloud backend.
Family profiles, saved meal preferences, challenge progress, streak information, quiz progress, written memory entries, and locally recorded voice notes may be stored on your device.
2. Family profiles and preferences
You may optionally enter family member names or nicknames and family preferences to personalize the App. This information is intended to remain on your device for the core version of GharOne and is not required to be uploaded to a GharOne server.
3. Meal planning and recipe features
When you use “Aaj Kya Banaye?” or other meal-planning tools, the App may use your selected ingredients, meal preferences, cooking time, dietary choices, saved recipes, meal plans, and shopping-list items to provide recommendations. These core recommendations are generated from content bundled with the App and do not require a third-party recipe API.
4. Family Challenge and Brain Battle
Challenge completion, family streaks, quiz scores, selected categories, and related progress information may be stored locally so the App can remember your progress and personalize the daily experience.
5. Photos and family memories
If you choose to attach a photo to a memory, GharOne uses the Android system picker or a similar device-provided file selection method. The selected photo is used only for the action you choose.
GharOne does not require your selected photos to be uploaded to a GharOne-operated cloud server for its core memory features.
6. Voice notes and microphone access
If you choose to record a voice memory, GharOne requests microphone permission. Voice recordings are saved locally in the App’s private storage on your device for the core version of the App.
Microphone access is used only when you actively choose to record a voice note.
7. Sharing
GharOne may let you share meal ideas, challenge results, quiz scores, or other selected content through Android’s share functionality. When you choose another app or service to receive shared content, that third party’s own privacy policy and data practices apply.
8. Advertising and Google AdMob
GharOne may display advertising, including banner ads, native ads, interstitial ads, app-open ads, and rewarded or rewarded-interstitial ads. The App uses Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads and may use Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) for consent and privacy choices where required.
Google and its advertising services may automatically process information such as device identifiers, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, app interactions, advertising interactions, diagnostics, and other technical information for purposes including ad delivery, ad measurement, analytics, security, fraud prevention, and regulatory compliance. Google handles this information according to its own policies and terms.
If you voluntarily view a rewarded advertisement to unlock an optional bonus experience, the advertising provider may record whether the ad was viewed or completed so the reward can be granted.
9. Permissions
Depending on the features you use and your Android version, GharOne may request or use:
- Internet and network access for advertising and related services.
- Microphone access only when you choose to record a voice memory.
- Photo/document picker access only when you choose to attach a photo or supported file.
The App does not require broad access to unrelated files for its core functionality.
10. Information GharOne does not require
For its core version-1 experience, GharOne does not require you to create an account or provide a password, government identification number, bank account information, or payment-card details.
11. Children and family use
GharOne is a general family lifestyle app. Parents and guardians should supervise children’s use of family features and should avoid entering sensitive personal information into memory entries or other free-text areas.
We do not knowingly ask children to create a GharOne account or independently submit personal information to a GharOne-operated server for the core version of the App.
12. Data retention and deletion
Local App data generally remains on your device until you delete saved content where the App provides that option, clear the App’s data through Android settings, or uninstall the App.
Third-party advertising providers may retain technical or advertising-related information according to their own policies and retention practices.
13. Data sharing and sale
GharOne does not sell your family memories, photos, voice notes, family profiles, meal preferences, or locally stored content.
Technical and advertising-related information may be processed by third-party services such as Google AdMob as described in this Privacy Policy.
14. Security
We use reasonable design practices intended to minimize unnecessary handling of personal information and family content. However, no mobile device, operating system, network, or third-party service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
15. Your choices
You can manage App permissions through Android settings. Where applicable, you may also be given privacy and advertising choices through Google’s consent tools, your device settings, or your Google account settings.
16. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when GharOne’s features, third-party services, legal requirements, or data practices change. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
