This Privacy Policy explains how Royal Chess (“the App”), package name com.goldej.royalchess, handles information when you use the App. Royal Chess is designed primarily as an offline chess game. Core chess gameplay does not require an account or an online chess server.
1. Information We Handle
Royal Chess does not require you to create an account, provide your name, phone number, address, contacts, photos, or other directly identifying personal information in order to play.
The App may store gameplay information locally on your device, such as:
- Game history and move records
- Statistics, wins, losses, draws and achievements
- App settings and preferences
- Selected game mode, difficulty and board preferences
This local gameplay information is used to provide App features and is not intentionally uploaded by the developer to a separate Royal Chess server.

Royal Chess uses Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads to display advertisements. Google and its advertising partners may collect or process certain information automatically, including device or advertising identifiers, IP address, app interactions, diagnostic information, and approximate location derived from IP address, for purposes such as advertising, analytics, fraud prevention, security and compliance.
Where required by law, the App may present a consent message or advertising privacy choices before personalized advertising is used.

3. Internet Connection
Core chess gameplay is designed to work offline. An internet connection may be used for advertising, consent management, and related Google services. The App does not require an online Royal Chess account for normal gameplay.

- Save local settings, history and statistics
- Display and measure advertisements
- Detect fraud, abuse, crashes or technical problems

Gameplay history, statistics and preferences stored locally remain on your device until you clear the App’s data or uninstall the App. Because Royal Chess does not require a user account, there is no separate cloud account to delete from Royal Chess.
Advertising-related information processed by Google or its partners is retained according to their applicable policies and settings.

We take reasonable steps to limit data handling to what is necessary for App functionality. Data transmitted by third-party services is handled using the security practices of those service providers. No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Royal Chess is not specifically directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly ask children to provide personal information through a Royal Chess account because the App does not use such an account system. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information through a third-party service, please contact us.
9. Your Privacy Choices
Depending on your location and device, you may be able to manage advertising personalization or consent through the App’s consent interface, Google settings, or your device settings. You can also remove locally stored Royal Chess data by clearing the App’s storage or uninstalling the App.
