FormFrame Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how FormFrame handles information when you use the FormFrame mobile application (“App”). FormFrame is designed as a privacy-first photo and signature utility for resizing, cropping, preparing passport photos, checking form requirements, creating print sheets, batch resizing, converting image formats, and saving or sharing exported files.
1. Photos, signatures and files
FormFrame processes the photos, signatures and other image files you select on your device. The App is designed so that these files are not uploaded to FormFrame servers for editing or processing.
Your original files remain on your device unless you choose to delete, move, save, export or share them using your device or another app.
2. No account required
FormFrame does not require you to create an account or sign in to use its core photo and signature tools.
3. Exported images and metadata
When FormFrame creates an exported image, it re-encodes the image and does not intentionally copy the original GPS or EXIF metadata into the new export. You should still review any file before sharing it if location or other metadata is sensitive to you.
4. Advertising and third-party services
FormFrame may display advertisements, including banner, interstitial, app-open, or rewarded ads. The App may use Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads or similar advertising services.
These third-party advertising services may automatically process information such as device identifiers, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, app interactions, advertising interactions, diagnostics, and other technical information for purposes such as ad delivery, ad measurement, analytics, security, and fraud prevention. Their handling of information is governed by their own privacy policies and terms.
If you choose to watch a rewarded advertisement in exchange for an ad-free period or another in-app benefit, the advertising provider may record that the ad was viewed or completed so the reward can be granted.
5. Permissions
FormFrame may request access to photos, media, camera, or storage features only when needed for functions you choose to use, such as selecting an image, taking a photo, saving an export, or sharing a file. Permission availability and wording may vary by Android version and device.
6. Information FormFrame does not intentionally collect
FormFrame itself does not intentionally collect or require your name, phone number, postal address, password, government ID number, or account credentials for its core features.
7. Local app data
The App may store limited settings and local state on your device, such as preferences, tool settings, recent local exports, or information needed to provide an ad-free period after a rewarded ad. This data is generally stored locally and can be removed by clearing the App’s data or uninstalling the App, subject to your device settings.
8. Sharing of data
FormFrame does not sell your photos or signatures. Information may be processed by third-party services used by the App, such as advertising, analytics, crash reporting, or platform services, only as needed to provide those services. If you use your device’s share function, the file you choose to share will be sent to the app or service you select.
9. Data retention
Photos and signatures used for editing are processed locally. FormFrame does not maintain a cloud copy of those files for its editing functions. Locally stored preferences or exported files remain on your device until you remove them, clear app data, or uninstall the App. Third-party providers may retain technical or advertising-related data according to their own policies.
10. Children’s privacy
FormFrame is a general-purpose utility app and is not specifically directed to children. We do not knowingly request children to submit personal information directly to FormFrame.
11. Security
We use reasonable design practices to limit unnecessary data handling. However, no mobile device, operating system, network, or third-party service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
12. Your choices
You can control permissions from your Android device settings. You can also reset or limit advertising identifiers and ad personalization using the privacy and advertising settings provided by your device and Google, where available.
13. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when FormFrame’s features, third-party services, legal requirements, or data practices change. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
